she is ambitious and proud and can be angered easily. she hates firestar and silverwind and hopes hazeleye will be medicine cat soon. not just because hazeleye is her friend, but because of her past. her name used to be beaverkit, and she had a brother named mushroomkit but they were playing and mushroomkit got a cut and beaverkit wanted his blood. she tackled him with claws unsheathed, and she was drinking his blood. eventually, a fox came and finished what beaverkit had started. mushroomkit did not survive. a patrol that her father was on saw that bloodshine was attacking her brother, but didn't see that the fox killed him. she was punished and her name was changed from beaverkit to bloodkit. when bloodshine was an apprentice, hazeleye was apprenticed with her. a riverclan warrior named mudfoot killed her mother orangesky. she was still alive when they brought her back to camp, and silverwind did everything she could to help her. but her efforts were in vain. orangesky joined starclan. her father, ashclaw said it would all be better in the morning and that mourning wouldn't bring her back. she begged and begged and begged for firestar to lead a patrol to riverclan, but firestar refused. that night, she killed ashclaw in her anger, hoping that no one would find out. next, she went over to riverclan territory and slaughtered mudfoot. she only told this to hazeleye. she is 14 moons.
